If you are having problems opening a session please review the following potential solutions:
Ensure you are accessing the event from the correct URL.
Microsoft Partner Events are hosted here https://partnerevents.govirtualconference.com
Try a different browser
Sometimes plugins such as privacy, ad blockers, create issues when opening up a session.
General guidance if you are having problems is to switch browsers and try again. For instance, if you are accessing the conference using Google Chrome and are experiencing issues, try with Microsoft Edge.
Note: Only Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome are fully supported with the virtual event platform.
Changing Tenants
Sometimes you will have to switch to the Microsoft Partner Events Teams tenant. If you are experiencing issues while in Teams in the web browser, click your user profile at the top right. From there, click the Microsoft Partner Events (Guest) link. Close the browser tab with Teams and then reopen from the My Daily Schedule section in Virtual Conference Manager.
Performance Problems with Video
If you are experiencing lab, or any other performance issues with attending a virtual session please review the following solutions:
- Disconnect from your Virtual Private Network (VPN)
- If you are connected to a VPN, it can create performance issues with watching streaming video. Disconnect and then try to open the video again.
- Close Other Applications
- Other applications running on your computer can take away resources that your computer needs to view live streams. If you are experiencing performance problems, please shut down all non-necessary applications and try again.
